The street is on the so-called Art Axis (Kunst-as) between the museums on the Leuvehaven and the Museum Park (Boijmans Van Beuningen, Het Nieuwe Instituut, the Natural History Museum, and the Kunsthal). The park is a short walk from the apartment. Festivals and markets are held here all year round (including the Parade, Open Air Cinema, Swan Market, Museum Night, etc.).
