The apartment is located in quiet part of the “Jordaan district" in the city center, known for its original canal houses, nice restaurants and authentic little shops. Strolling along the canals and through historical streets is a must.

Around the corner at the Prinsengracht- bridge you can see the beautiful tower of the Westerkerk (Western church), where the painter Rembrandt is buried. Close to the church is the Anne Frank House.

On the many bridges over the canals, you can take beautiful pictures and see why Amsterdam is called the Venice of the North.
Popular streets are "The Nine little streets", Westerstraat, Haarlemmerstraat and the Prinsengracht.

The Prinsengracht (Canal for Princes) is around the corner. If you turn right there, you will arrive the restaurant district around Leidseplein.
From there you are close to the famous Rijksmuseum.
