Generator - Bed in 4 bed Dorm

Generator Amsterdam’s 4-bed dorm offers a social, design-forward stay in the city’s lively Oud-Oost district. Housed in a former zoological university, this hostel blends original architecture with modern touches, making it ideal for solo travelers, backpackers, or budget-conscious friends who want to meet people. The shared room is simple and functional, with one bed in a clean, secure space—perfect for those who plan to spend most of their time exploring rather than in the room. Standout amenities include free WiFi, a ping pong table, board games, and bike rentals, plus a 24-hour reception and luggage drop-off for flexible arrivals. The on-site auditorium bar, library, and basement nightclub add a fun, local vibe that suits travelers seeking both culture and nightlife. For trip planning, note that paid parking is available on premises, and long-term stays are allowed, making this a practical base for extended visits or weekend getaways. With a stellar 4.5/5 rating from over 1,200 reviews, it’s a trusted choice for affordable, social accommodation in Amsterdam.

Oud-Oost places you between Amsterdam’s Centrum and Oost boroughs, with Oosterpark’s scenic English garden right next door—ideal for morning jogs or picnics. The area is well-connected by public transport, putting museums, music venues, and nightlife within easy reach. You’ll find a mix of local cafes, markets, and cultural spots, offering a more relaxed, authentic Amsterdam experience than the crowded city center.
