Houseboat Aquatic Oasis

You do you in this quiet aquatic oasis. This cosy houseboat is located at one of the most cosy and lively neighbourhoods of Amsterdam. Within a few minutes walk you wander around the Royal Palace at the Dam Square, dive into the history at Anne Frank Museum, see the beautiful nature in the Vondelpark or have a good coffee and tasty apple pie at the local northern market.

The houseboat is located in a beautiful canal and gives you the opportunity to really experience Amsterdam. When you stay in this houseboat; it’s completely yours. The houseboat houses a spacious living room, kitchen, comfortable double bed in a private bedroom, bathroom and separate toilet.

The living room has a 4 person dining table and a well equipped kitchen. Don’t feel like cooking? There are plenty of nice restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner in the neighbourhood. Ask me about it and I’ll show you some hidden gems.

The houseboat is located next to the Jordaan. This is possibly the most famous neighbourhood in the Netherlands. In the past the neighbourhood was knows for its tight community bonds, radical politics and a love for drink and over-the-top sing-a-longs.

In the past decades this neighbourhood has attracted more and more galleries, restaurants and specialty shops. Just outside the door of this houseboat you will find supermarkets, many different restaurants, the nine streets to go shopping, the Anne Frank Museum, an antique market, local farmers market (Saturday), the Western Church and the gay monument.

The Vondelpark, Dam Square, Rijks Museum, Stedelijk Museum, Van Gogh Museum, Leidseplein are all within a walking distance of 15-20 minutes.
