Our house is a house dating from 1875 with 4 levels (180m2) and a garden near the centre of Amsterdam.

We completely renovated it and turned it into a comfortable, modern and warm family house.

On the ground level is the entrance with separate bathroom and our kitchen area with a large wooden cloister table for 8 + 2 high chairs and a piano. A sunny place to sit and watch street life go by through the stained

We live in Oud West, a vibrant neighborhood (Amsterdam's best kept secret) with many hip restaurants & bars, art galleries, and local alternative shops.

Our house is right across ‘ De Hallen’: a former tram depot has been transformed into a spectacular concept. Here you find Amsterdam’s first indoor food market, the Foodhallen, a cinema, shops, local markets & shops, restaurants, bars, and a design hotel.

Our neighbourhood is wonderful for children with a children’s farm and several playgrounds around the corner and in summer a toddler’s pool in front of our house.

Also the Amsterdam canal area, Anne Frank House, Dam square, the Vondelpark and the museum area with the Rijksmuseum and the Van Goghmuseum are within walking distance (15 minutes).
