The space
The houseboat studio has a bedroom with big sliding windows with a spectaculair view of the beautiful old 18 century canalhouses and the canal. There is a seating arrangement in front of these sliding doors to enjoy live on the water. There is also a little bench to sit outside and enjoy the pleasure boats going by or feeding the ducks and swans who will com you.

The houseboat studio is situated in the Jordaan area, which is the most popular area amongst locals therefore this area is still very authentic compared to other parts of Amsterdam with too many tourists. Here you still have many quaint little shops, lovely restaurants, nice cafes with outdoor terraces. Just around the corner is the famous NOORDERMARKT, with it's twice weekly market (vintage, farmers market, foods, clothes etc). The Anne Frank House is only 10 minutes walk. Most of the main city sites are in walking distance from the houseboat. In a way Amsterdam is just a "village" and you are right in the middle of it!
