About this stay
Welcome to this little treasure in the heart of Amsterdam! The studio (22m2) is located on the ground floor of a historic canal house, (dated 1680), and offers views of the Herengracht. Many interesting places are within walking distance: Anne Frank House, Dam Square and Madame Tussaud's. The high end shopping district of the Nine Streets, Jordaan and many great restaurants, bars and cafes are nearby. The Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the Concertgebouw are also within easy reach.
The space
The studio consists of one bedroom and a bathroom (bath, shower and toilet). With windows in front of the house, the room has a light atmosphere. The bed is a comfortable queen size one. There is no kitchen. The room is suitable for two people. Since the room is located on the ground floor, this place may be less suitable for people taller than 1.90 m. The three entrance steps are a bit steep.
I'm sure you will enjoy your stay at my place.

Neighbourhood
Amsterdam Canal District is a neighborhood in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The seventeenth-century canals in Amsterdam, located in the center of Amsterdam, were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in August 2010. The Amsterdam Canal District consists of the area around the city's four main canals: Singel, Herengracht, Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht. From Brouwersgracht, the canals are generally parallel to each other, and gradually lead southeast into the Amstel River.
Many of the canal houses in the Amsterdam Canal District are from the Dutch Golden Age in the 18th century. However, many of these buildings underwent restoration or reconstruction in different centuries, which means that these buildings display many different architectural styles and facades.
