Our ship ALMA, signifies SOUL i,s a former freight ship transformed into a comfortable houseboat. It is docked on the verge of the Jordaan, in the heart of Amsterdam. Close to lots of paramount landmarks, yet very quiet at night. We warmly welcome aboard guests who want to enjoy the ultimate Amsterdam houseboat experience. Your own space on the starboard of our houseboat has all necessities you need for a great stay in Amsterdam. The interior of the boat has been completely renovated recently.

The space
The studio gives you a historic ship experience with the necessities you may expect from a modern studio. It has a warm wooden floor and a comfortable heating system that is hidden in the walls. So no need to get cold feet when staying on our boat all year round.

The location of our boat is perfect if you want to be in the heart of Amsterdam, yet away from tourist masses that keep you awake at night. You will enjoy peaceful nights at our boat as no cars are passing by. You will only see some pedestrians, mostly people living in the neighbourhood.


You can discover lots of great restaurants, bars and daily fresh markets near to our houseboat. Various supermarkets are found in less than a few minutes walking.
Highlights are found on walking distance, or a few tram or bus stops away, among others: the Jordaan Area with the Anne Frank House and Westerkerk, the famous 9-streets with boutique shops. Go eastward and you will hit the wonderful Vondelpark, Museum Square and the Leidse Square.
