Nice apartment in center of Amsterdam

This private room in a townhouse offers a cozy canal-side base for solo travelers or couples who want to explore Amsterdam's central neighborhoods without a full kitchen. The space has its own private entrance and bathroom, plus a lock on the bedroom door for added security. While there's no kitchen, you can prepare simple meals, and the self check-in via lockbox makes arrival easy at any hour. With a 4.6 guest rating from 345 reviews, it's a popular choice for those who prioritize location and privacy over cooking facilities. The first-floor apartment is part of the host's family home but feels completely separate day and night. Note that smoking is not allowed, and paid parking is available off premises if you're driving. The area, De Baarsjes-Oud-West, blends local life with tourist-friendly spots: you're a 5-minute walk from De Hallen food hall and market, and within a 20-minute walk or short tram ride to Vondelpark, Museumplein (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum), and Anne Frank House. The tram stop is just 1 minute away, making it easy to reach Amsterdam Central Station and Schiphol Airport. This stay suits travelers who want a quiet, private room in a lively neighborhood with excellent public transport links.

De Baarsjes-Oud-West is a vibrant residential area just west of Amsterdam's canal ring, popular for its mix of local cafes, restaurants, and cultural spots like De Hallen, a former tram depot turned food market and cinema. You're a short walk from the Vondelpark and Museumplein, and the tram stop nearby connects you to the city center and airport. It's a practical base for exploring both tourist attractions and everyday Amsterdam life.
