You can easily inhale history by just walking outside the apartment in any direction. Just around the corner there are serveral courtyards which are a few hundred years old.
The neighbourhood is also known for its numerous cosy restaurants and bars, practically on every corner of every street. On Saturdays the famous Lindengracht market is right in front of your apartment!
