The area is just next to the city center of The Hague, with a vibrant jazz scene, cinemas large and small, and many world-class museums. Bike distance to Delft, close to Amsterdam and Rotterdam

At the same time, on walking distance you can find serenity and beauty on walking trails all the way to the beach and the dunes. The city of The Hague has many (previously royal) estates that are now open to the public so that, together with the dunes and ocean, it has been ranked the 3rd greenest city in the world.
