Historic maisonette in quiet part of the Jordaan

This historic maisonette in the Jordaan is ideal for a couple seeking a quiet, eco-conscious stay in Amsterdam's most charming neighborhood. The apartment occupies the top two floors of an 18th-century canal house, offering leafy street views from floor-to-ceiling windows and a peaceful garden outlook at the back. With a private entrance and a compact 50 m² layout, it feels like a hidden retreat in the city. Standout amenities include an espresso machine and French press for coffee lovers, plus a free in-unit washer and luggage dropoff for flexible travel. The room-darkening shades and drying rack add comfort for longer stays, while the 5.0 guest rating from 52 reviews reflects consistent quality. For trip planning, this rental suits travelers who want to explore the Jordaan's boutiques, cafes, and the nearby Westerpark on foot, without needing a car.

The Jordaan is Amsterdam's most beloved neighborhood for its narrow streets, indie shops, and relaxed vibe. Centrum-West places you steps from the Anne Frank House, lively Haarlemmerdijk street, and the bohemian Westerpark just around the corner. You'll find excellent local bakeries, organic markets, and canal-side bars within a 5-minute walk, yet the maisonette sits on a quiet, leafy street for restful nights. Public transport is easy with trams and buses nearby, but most attractions are walkable.
