Great Houseboat in Amsterdam Centrum

This modern houseboat on a quiet canal in Amsterdam’s Centrum-West offers a serene escape for couples or small groups of up to four. With two bedrooms that can be configured as a king or twins, it’s ideal for two couples or a family seeking a peaceful water-side stay. The calm setting lets you watch ducks drift by from the windows, yet you’re just a short walk from the Jordaan’s lively cafes, galleries, and the Anne Frank House. Standout amenities include a free in-unit washer, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and room-darkening shades for restful sleep. The 5.0-star rating from 59 guests reflects the spotless, modern decor and thoughtful touches like a hair dryer and hot water kettle. For trip planning, note that the host will request passport details at check-in per municipal rules, so have documents ready. This is a rare chance to sleep on Amsterdam’s iconic canals without sacrificing comfort or convenience.

Centrum-West places you in the heart of Amsterdam’s historic district, steps from the Jordaan’s indie boutiques, brown cafes, and the Prinsengracht canal. You’re within a 10-minute walk to Anne Frank House, the Nine Streets shopping area, and Dam Square. Public transport is close, with tram stops on Rozengracht and bus links to Central Station. The area is lively but the houseboat’s quiet canal location offers a calm retreat after exploring.
