Amsterdam is a relatively small city with an extensive offering of shopping, food, entertainment and culture. So, everyone has easy access to everything. There are not that many locations, however, where so much is reachable within minutes of walking. Our Town House is positioned in the middle of the Western canal area, a location that might be optimal in terms of access:

Nine streets
The ‘SOHO’ of Amsterdam, the ‘nine streets’, can be found in the side streets of the Keizersgracht at each side of the house. These streets hold many of Amsterdam’s interesting and fashionable stores (and restaurants), and on the weekends create a very pleasant buzz of people strolling around or sitting at the side walk cafes.

Jordaan
De Jordaan, generally considered the most picturesque of the Amsterdam neighbourhoods, and home to numerous restaurants, bars and small shops, starts one block away from the house.
