Mercedes B&B is the perfect place to stay to dive into the typically Amsterdam vibe! A quiet place around the corner of the Prinsengracht and the charming shopping street of Haarlemmerdijk where there are lots of restaurants and food places. Just walk down the Prinsengracht towards the Anne Frank house in about 10 minutes. Afterwards keep on following the Prinsengracht towards the Leidseplein, the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum and the Contemporary art museum. Explore the city highlights on foot.

The space
Our house was built in 1747. In your luxury room, you can see the wooden beams from that era at the ceiling. Imagine the clothes the people were wearing who placed those beams there. What was there world like? One of our favorite museums is the Maritime Museum with a replica of an East Indiaman. Our house was built at the same time. Come and sense the spirit of history.

Mercedes B&B is situated in the city center of Amsterdam. Not far away from the hip and quirky shopping street Haarlemmerstraat. Not only shopping, but it is also a perfect street for dining and bars hopping. The street is in the wonderful Jordaan district. You are guaranteed to find a special little something from Amsterdam in this alternative shopping district.

The public transport is just around the corner. Therefore you have the possibility to explore the entire city, with all the fantastic attractions and museums.

Things to do when you stay at Mercedes B&B:
- Go to the Noordermarkt on Saturday (behind our house, near the big church)
- Walk down the canals. You pass the Ann Frank house if you follow the Prinsengracht
- Rent an electric boat, with or without skipper and organize your own canal-trip (bring your own wine and bread)
- Scheepvaartmuseum (maritime museum, it is worth to visit and to go on the 17th century VOC-ship Amsterdam
