Cosy, comfortable, quiet bedroom

This private room in a shared rental unit is ideal for solo travelers or couples who prioritize a good night's sleep and easy access to Amsterdam's main attractions. The room features a comfortable bed, and the host provides thoughtful touches like extra pillows and blankets, a hair dryer, and toiletries. While there is no breakfast, guests can make their own tea or coffee and store simple food. The shared bathroom is kept clean, and the host greets you upon arrival to help you settle in. The quiet Bos en Lommer neighborhood offers a peaceful retreat after a busy day exploring the city, with public transport just steps away to reach the airport (10 km) or central Amsterdam in about 15 minutes. This is a practical, no-frills base for travelers who value convenience and a calm atmosphere over luxury amenities.

Bos en Lommer is a multicultural, up-and-coming area with a local market at Bos en Lommerplein. It's very quiet at night, yet well-connected by tram, bus, and metro to central Amsterdam, the Museum Quarter, and the airport. You'll find a mix of ethnic eateries and shops, offering a more authentic, less touristy experience than the city center.
