This private room in a penthouse apartment is ideal for solo travelers or couples seeking a calm base with easy access to Amsterdam’s energy. The quiet Osdorp neighborhood offers a local, residential feel away from tourist crowds, while the city center is just 15 minutes away by tram or bus. Standout amenities include free street parking—a rare find in Amsterdam—and a dedicated workspace, making it suitable for remote workers or road-trippers. The host greets you personally, and luggage dropoff adds flexibility for early arrivals or late departures. With a 4.9 rating from 236 reviews, guests consistently praise the peaceful setting and thoughtful touches like a coffee maker and essential toiletries.

Osdorp is a laid-back residential area in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, known for its green spaces and multicultural vibe. It’s well-connected by tram 1 and bus 69 to the city center, and Schiphol Airport is only 15 minutes away by car or public transport. You’ll find local supermarkets, parks, and casual eateries within walking distance, but nightlife and major attractions require a short commute. Free street parking here is a major perk for drivers, as central Amsterdam charges high fees.
