The Erasmus university and Brain-park are about 800m away, and can easily be reached by foot/bike within several minutes.

Flex-bikes, something similar to Airbnb but then to rent bikes per minute, are frequently stationed just around the corner. Making it easy to rent a bike for a small fee when you need it.
