Water View 1-Bedroom Apartment in trendy NDSM

This one-bedroom serviced apartment in Amsterdam's NDSM district is ideal for couples or small groups of up to four who want a creative, offbeat base with water views. The compact layout includes a double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room, plus a balcony overlooking the IJ river. Standout amenities include free WiFi, self check-in, and luggage drop-off, making it easy to explore right after arrival. The modern decor and practical kitchen (with stove) suit travellers who prefer a home-like setup over a hotel. While the area is trendy and lively, the apartment offers a calm retreat with hot water and linens provided. Note that security cameras are on the property for safety, and long-term stays are allowed for digital nomads or slow travellers.

Oud-Noord is Amsterdam's edgy northern district, accessible by free ferry from Central Station. The NDSM wharf is a former shipyard turned creative hub, hosting festivals, street art, and flea markets year-round. Nearby, the EYE Film Museum and A’dam Tower offer cultural and panoramic views. This area suits travellers who want a local, less touristy vibe with easy access to the city centre.
