More central you can not sit in Amsterdam. Everything is within walking distance: a choice of restaurants, museums, Dam Square, Anne Frank House and the Royal Palace, shopping - really everything is around the corner. You can park in public parking lots (there are at number around the corner) and on the street. Parking can also P & R sites (much cheaper) that are located on the city's outskirts. But by far the easiest is to arrive by train.
