The Spaarndammerbuurt is a trendy, residential area west of Amsterdam’s center, known for its early 20th-century architecture and creative energy. You’re a 10-minute walk from the Jordaan’s canals and markets, but the neighborhood itself offers indie cafes, design shops, and the massive Westerpark with its cultural venues like the Melkweg and food market.
