This private suite in a rental unit offers a peaceful retreat in Amsterdam's De Aker - Nieuw Sloten neighborhood, ideal for travelers seeking a quiet base with easy access to both the airport and city center. The 30 m² space includes a private entrance, bathroom, and terrace, plus a shared garden—perfect for couples or small groups of up to four who want room to spread out. Standout amenities like pocket WiFi, a drying rack, and luggage dropoff make it practical for longer stays or layovers, while the waterfront setting adds a serene backdrop. At around €91 per night, it's a budget-friendly option for those who prefer a village vibe over the bustling center, with Schiphol just a short drive away and central Amsterdam reachable in about 20 minutes by car or transit. The area feels more like a Dutch countryside enclave than a city neighborhood, with a windmill, cheese farm, and traditional houses nearby—great for travelers who want to explore local culture without the tourist crowds. Note that the property has only five reviews, so it's a newer listing worth considering for its value and location.
