The neighbourhood
The appartement is situated in the Oosterparkbuurt. The architecture in the neighborhood is very charming and is designed by the famous Dutch architect Berlage. It is an upscale and lively neighbourhood with many shops, cafés and restaurants nearby. The appartment itself is situated in a quiet and friendly street.
From the appartment it is only 10 minutes walk to Oostpoort shopping and dining area. This is a very popular quarter in the eastern part of Amsterdam (Linaeusstraat). Here you will find many restaurants, terraces and shops brought together in a mixture of old and modern architecture. The Oosterpark and Park Frankendael are nearby and beautifull parks worth visiting. 2 Supermarkets for the daily groceries are in 5 minutes walking distance from the appartment.
