Be at Vondelpark or Rembrandtpark in less than 5 minutes, or cycle 10 minutes to Amsterdam’s famous canal rings. Public transit is 2 blocks away, excellent access to the A-10 ring, and Schiphol is 11 minutes by car.

The space
Enter the apartment on the second floor where you have a landing for shoes, jackets, and other small storage. The stairway takes you to the open-plan third floor, where you’ll find a large living space with two sitting areas: one with a large, comfortable leather sofa for watching TV (includes AppleTV with Netflix, HBOMax, EuroSport) and another spacious area with seating oriented around the wood-burning stove. De Baarsjes in Amsterdam's Old West neighborhood offers the best of everything the city has to offer: quiet, leafy-green residential streets with several bustling commercial streets full of restaurants, bars, shops, and cafes just steps away.

You'll find two grocery stores around the corner from our front door (as well as the Schinkel canal). A 5-minute stroll up to the popular Postjesweg for cafes, a wine shop, a bakery, and more. 3 minutes in the other direction and you're on the Overtoom for countless great restaurants (Bar Kosta, Otto Volante, Parallel, etc), Chabrol Wines (one of the best wine shops in Amsterdam), groceries, bike rentals, David Lloyd's gym, and more.

Rembrandtpark and Vondelpark are both a 5-minute walk from the apartment, and by bike you're 10 minutes away from the Rijksmuseum and Museumplein, the Jordaan, and the famous "9 Streets" of Amsterdam in the old city's canal belt.
