Note that the boat remains stationary during reservations, so you get all the charm of houseboat living without any motion. The area is lively and walkable, with attractions like the Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank House, and the Nine Streets shopping district just minutes away. For a quieter moment, the houseboat’s own deck and the nearby Hortus Botanicus garden offer peaceful retreats. Practical amenities include a washer, hair dryer, and luggage drop-off, while the building staff ensures smooth arrivals and departures.

The houseboat is moored in Centrum-Oost, a central area that puts you within easy walking distance of Amsterdam’s major museums, the Royal Palace, and the vibrant Nieuwmarkt square. To reach your accommodation, you’ll cross a neighbor’s boat deck, so please keep noise to a minimum and always close their side doors and lock the gate with the provided keys when coming and going. This respect for neighbors ensures a peaceful stay for everyone along the canal.
