Inspiring apartment in downtown Amsterdam

This recently renovated two-floor townhouse in Amsterdam's Centrum-Oost neighborhood offers a calm retreat in the heart of the old city. Ideal for couples or small families (sleeps 4), it combines authentic charm with modern comforts like a private garden, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and fast WiFi. The host greets you personally, and the private entrance ensures a self-contained stay. While a nearby construction site operates weekdays 8am–4pm, the noise is minimal and piling is finished, so it won't disrupt your relaxation or exploration. With a 4.9/5 guest rating, this apartment suits travelers who want a quiet base within walking distance of Amsterdam's historic center, museums, and vibrant streets—perfect for balancing sightseeing with downtime in your own little garden.

Centrum-Oost is a lively yet residential slice of Amsterdam's old center, bordered by the Plantage and Weesperbuurt areas. You're steps from the Artis Zoo, the Hortus Botanicus, and the winding canals of the Jewish Quarter, while Dam Square and the Rijksmuseum are a 15-minute walk. The neighborhood is packed with cozy cafés, brown bars, and local markets—like the Dappermarkt—giving you an authentic Amsterdam experience without the tourist crush. Tram and metro stops are nearby, making it easy to reach the rest of the city.
