This houseboat is located in the creative charming residential area ‘Oud-west’, adjacent to the city center and close to Vondelpark, Museumsquare, Leidsesquare, Jordaan, 9-street shopping area and the Food halls at Kinkerstraat (Foodhallen).

Amsterdam is a 'big village' compared to London or Paris. Amsterdam inner ring (within the highway) is about 5 by 5 kilometer and the city of Amsterdam has less than 1 million people living there. London (housing 8 million) and Paris (housing 4 million) are 6 to 10 times as big in size! In Amsterdam you can be anywhere within the city ring in 10 - 45 minutes, by foot, bike or tram. I recommend exploring surrounding center neighborhoods more than the touristic inner heart.
