Houseboat: Our little paradise in Amsterdam

10 minutes from the center of Amsterdam you imagine yourself in the middle of untouched nature. Jump from the living room into the clear water to have a swim, ride with your bike in just a few minutes to the lively center of town. Visit one of the many museums, go shopping followed by lunch on one of the inviting terraces. A city trip combined the calmness of nature.

The space
The apartment is spread over two floors connected with an open staircase, has a private entrance with a small terrace and entrance to the water .
On the ground floor you will find a living area with a sofa bed (140/200), an open kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen equipment is a fridge, small cooker,  microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and an espresso machine.
There are double doors on the backside with a view on the water where you can jump right in! On the first floor is a spacious bedroom with a kingsize bed ( 160/210) and room for a child’s bed or cot. The windows all around

The apartment is located just behind the Olympic Stadium and in the south of the city called Amsterdam Oud-Zuid and very well connected with the center of the city. 10 minutes with public transport to important places. The houseboat lies at the canal Schinkel, just behind the “Nieuwe Meersluis”, a lock on the edge of town, on walking distance from the Amsterdamse Bos, the forest, and the lake the Nieuwe Meer, tennis courts and sports accomodation (Frans Otten Hall), the Bosbaan ( rowing), a luxury spa (Spa Zuiver), the VU Hospital and the university. Within a 7 minutes you can walk to the Stadionplein with a variety of restaurants, shops and supermarkets.
