Houseboat, B&B in the back stern (BK 53).

B&B BK 53 consists of the partly original rear end of the ship, with the small kitchen and bathroom in the former engine room. And literally on top of this, the use of the wheelhouse or captain's cabin. You will have your own entrance from there.

The space
This 'flagship', the houseboat where I have been living in for over forty years now, contains two guestrooms, B&B BK53 in the very back end of the ship and B&B BK52 under the newly constructed forecastle.

The originally sailing Dutch barge, type Hagenaar, was later converted to a motor ship and is now moored on the River Amstel, functioning as a houseboat only.
(Its engine was taken out in 2006 and added to the collection of an engine museum). Aboard are, at its both ends, two neatly done guestrooms.

The ship is, right in the center of Amsterdam, moored in the river Amstel, close to the famous Skinny Bridge. Basicly most of what you want to see or visit is on walking distance 'around the corner'.
