Welcome on board of our historical sailing ship "Chateauroux", in summer docked at Amsterdam, Enkhuizen or Monnickendam. Live freely and experience the life on water like many of our Amsterdam citizens. Our skipper will be happily telling you about the ship, sailing and the city.

The space
The Chateauroux is a large sailing ship built in 1908. Since its renovation in 1986, this classic Dutch ship now offers 26 beds. Great for larger groups for a unique experience

In summer (May-October), the ship may be in Amsterdam (Pontsteiger), Enkhuizen or Monnickendam. Ask where the ship will be during your stay. Amsterdam's best experiences and must-sees such as the historic canals, museums, shops, bars, restaurants, concert halls & theaters are located in the area around the ship. Besides the vibrancy of the city, you can withdraw to the quiet, private and safe location of the ship.

Amsterdam (Pontsteiger) - From the northern Pontsteiger, you are in the city in no time. The nearby Westerpark blends green spaces, a lively creative and nightlife scene, and iconic architecture. Along with its regular exhibitions, markets and festivals, the converted Westergasfabriek gasworks contains indie shops, eclectic eateries, an art-house cinema, a brewery and a dance club. Nearby, the Museum Het Schip is the focus of a residential area of red-brick Amsterdam School buildings.
