Historic home, 50m2 B&B, private, garden, center!

Our beautiful historic home (1768) still has all the original features such as beams and fireplaces. Perfect neighborhood, all public transport within walking distance, right between art and culture, great locations for food or a drink, a lot of couleur local. The neighborhood is modern and historical at the same time and our House is a great base for all of the attractions, quiet yet right in the Centre. The space
Our home is located in the old Plantation neighorhood in the center which used to be the fruit and vegetable gardens of Amsterdam. Our B&B is situated in the sousterrain, which is spacious, friendly furnished, comfortable and with a lot of details. We often use the sousterrain ourselves especially during summer periods. On the wall there is a large painting with the image of the Central Station square and graphic works of Mariette van der Tas. In case you are a couple with a child we can accommodate

When the weather is fine you can install yourself with a drink on the the front door platform and watch half of Amsterdam cycle by because our street is the most used street by cyclists. And whatever way you leave the street, around every corner is something to see and to do. One side of the street leads to the Artis Zoo, Resistance museum, Maritime museum, Tropical museum and local Dappermarkt. And the other side to the Hermitage museum, theatre Carre, Magere Brug and Utrechtse straat. While walking to the Skinny Bridge (Magere Brug) over the river Amstel within 5 minutes you are crossing Utrechtsestraat with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Another 100 meters and you are at the local monday morning flower market on Amstelveld. Our House is situated in the Plantage area, a spacious area where centuries ago the vegetable gardens of Amsterdam were located.
