Great central apartment + garden in Pijp WITH CAT

This top-floor apartment in De Pijp offers a rare mix: a private, fully fenced backyard and a friendly resident cat named Twinkie. Ideal for solo travelers or couples who want a calm, local base with easy access to Amsterdam’s trendiest food and drink scene. The unit sleeps up to three guests and includes a dedicated workspace, free washer and dryer, and a full kitchen with cooking basics — perfect for longer stays or remote work trips. Twinkie is mostly outdoors and only needs feeding twice a day (flexible), so you get the charm of a pet without the responsibility. The apartment’s standout feature is the peaceful garden, a quiet retreat after days exploring the bustling Albert Cuypmarkt or Heineken Museum, both within walking distance. Hosts are known for warm, personal welcomes, making this feel more like a friend’s home than a rental.

De Pijp is Amsterdam’s most sought-after neighborhood for its lively mix of multicultural markets, indie boutiques, and world-class street food. The Albert Cuypmarkt (5 min walk) is Europe’s largest daily market, perfect for fresh produce, cheese, and souvenirs. You’re also steps from the Heineken Museum, Sarphatipark, and countless coffee bars and dinner spots along Ferdinand Bolstraat and Eerste van der Helststraat. Trams 16 and 24 connect you to the city center in 10 minutes, while the quiet residential streets offer a relaxed, local vibe.
