In the hold of a beautiful renovated cargo ship you will find this arty decorated apartment with it's own entrance. The apartment is separated in 1 living, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
The space
The main goal of the designer/architect was to create an open and light atmosphere on board. To realise that some of the decks have been lifted up a little bit and big windows have been placed.
The most used material in the boat is wood, pitch pine to be specific. All the wood in the boat was recycled from historical buildings in Amsterdam. Main reason for that was the concern about the environment from the owner of the boat.
In the living you can find a big kitchen equipped with all comforts like a dishwasher, microwave, waterboiler, coffee/nespresso machine, breadtoaster, tostimachine etc.
There are three separated lounge/sitting corners. In the living you can also find a professional sound system.
