Cosy houseboat studio in the old city center

This cosy studio apartment is ideal for a couple or three friends. The studio is located in a cargo boat from 1907 in the old Amsterdam harbor of the 16th century. The boat is moored in between the oldest part of the historic city centre and the modern architecture of the Oosterdok Island, between Central Station and the Technology Museum. The boat and the surrounding boats form a quite little village right in the center of town. Central heating makes the studio nice and warm in the winter.

The area is a sort of a little village of houseboats located in between the oldest part of the historic city centre and the super modern buildings of Oosterdok Island. The water where the boat is situated used to be the old harbor, before they created an artificial island and built the Central Station in the 1880's.
