Cosy Apartment Amsterdam North

This 1930s townhouse in Amsterdam's Oud-Noord neighborhood is ideal for couples seeking a quiet, local base with easy access to the city center. The free ferry from nearby NDSM wharf whisks you to Central Station in about 10 minutes, making it a practical choice for exploring Amsterdam's museums, canals, and nightlife without the noise and crowds of the tourist core. The apartment sleeps two in a spacious living area with a record player, a dedicated workspace, and a fully equipped kitchen with a juicer and coffee maker—perfect for slow mornings before heading out. Standout amenities include a baby bath and outlet covers, so it also suits families with a small child, though the two double bedrooms (one likely used as a second living space) offer flexibility. With a guest rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 22 reviews, this rental balances comfort and convenience for travelers who value a residential vibe over a central hotel.

Oud-Noord is a leafy, residential area across the IJ river from Amsterdam's historic center. The free ferry (24/7) connects you to Central Station in about 10 minutes, while the neighborhood itself offers indie cafes, the EYE film museum, and the NDSM wharf with its street art and flea markets. It's quieter than the city center, with local bakeries and parks like Noorderpark nearby.
