This comfortable private room in a Zuid condo is ideal for couples or solo travelers who want a quiet, residential base near Amsterdam’s convention and museum districts. The space features a well-equipped kitchen with a Miele gas stove, a rooftop terrace, and a private bathroom on the third floor—though be prepared for steep Dutch stairs. A friendly dog lives here, but the host respects your space if you prefer to ignore him. With a 4.9/5 rating from 127 reviews, guests consistently praise the cleanliness, thoughtful amenities like a drying rack and room-darkening shades, and the host’s welcoming attitude. At around €101 per night, it’s a solid value for a stay that balances home comforts with easy access to the RAI Convention Centre (1.3 km), Museumplein (1.5 km), and the city center (2 km). The waterfront location adds a scenic touch, and the nearby laundromat is handy for longer trips.

Zuid is a quiet, leafy area with 1930s architecture that feels removed from the tourist bustle, yet you’re just a 20-minute walk from Museumplein and the city center. The main street around the corner has supermarkets, bakeries, lunch spots, and a bookstore—everything you need for daily errands. It’s a practical choice if you’re attending an event at the RAI or want a peaceful retreat after sightseeing.
