The space
Brand new, bright apartment in the heart of Amsterdam East: the most upcoming neighbourhood of Amsterdam. It’s a one-bedroom apartment with a private terrace with lots of sun hours. The apartment was completely renovated in April 2015.

The apartment has a beautiful living room with very comfortable couch and 40-inch television to watch Netflix on after a busy day of visiting Amsterdam. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, cooking equipment, water cooker and Nespresso machine (George Clooney not included).

This apartment is located in Amsterdam Oost (East), an upcoming, vibrant district of Amsterdam. You won’t see many tourists here, because it’s the place where the locals love to hang when the city centre is too crowded. The apartment is just around the corner from the Linnaeusstraat: a buzzing street with many cool bars like the Biertuin and Kuijper. In the summer you’ll find the hippest Amsterdam crowd on sunny terraces, enjoying a “Brouwerij ‘t IJ’, a beer from the famous local brewery that’s located in a wind mill (also just 10 minutes away from the apartment). The Beukenplein is on the other side of the street; here you’ll find amongst others bars like Bar Bukowski (they serve great gin and tonics!), Maxwell and an amazing pizza place.

For very cheap, fresh food and a real Amsterdam experience you can walk your way up to the Dappermarkt, the multicultural market where locals buy their fruit and vegetables. Make sure to stop by the Oosterpark on the way, an amazing park
