ClinkNoord - Bed in 6-bed en-suite dorm

ClinkNoord’s 6-bed en-suite dorm is perfect for solo travellers and backpackers who want to meet people without sacrificing comfort. Each bed comes with a reading light, USB port, and a locker for small luggage, plus the room has its own bathroom. The hostel itself is set in a converted laboratory with a spacious atrium and lively bar, making it easy to socialise after a day exploring Amsterdam. Located in Oud-Noord, it’s a 10-minute journey from Centraal Station via a free 24/7 ferry, so you get a quieter neighbourhood while staying close to the city centre. With a 4.4/5 guest rating and a nightly price around €43, it’s a budget-friendly choice for those who value both privacy and community.

Oud-Noord sits across the IJ river from central Amsterdam, offering a more local, laid-back vibe than the tourist-packed city centre. The free ferry from behind Centraal Station runs 24/7 and takes just five minutes, dropping you 300 metres from the hostel. Dam Square and the Royal Palace are about 1.4 km away once you cross, so you can easily walk to major sights or hop on a tram. The area itself has a mix of creative spaces, cafes, and green spots like Noorderpark, ideal for a relaxed evening after sightseeing.
