Classic home with a View

This classic Amsterdam condo on the 2nd and 3rd floors (plus rooftop) offers a peaceful haven with stunning views over the Amstel River. It's ideal for couples or small families (sleeps 4) who appreciate old-world charm—think 1904 plastered ceilings and no elevator—and don't mind climbing stairs. The double-glazed windows keep city noise at bay, but you'll still hear the usual street sounds when they're open. With a 5.0 rating from 44 guests, it's a proven gem for travelers who want an authentic, quiet base without sacrificing access to Amsterdam's highlights. Standout amenities include in-unit washer/dryer, a blender for easy meals, and luggage dropoff for flexible arrival days. The host greets you personally, adding a warm local touch. Plan your days around the Albert Cuyp market (10-minute walk), Rijksmuseum (15–20 minutes), or a riverside stroll to the city center. The rooftop is perfect for evening drinks with that iconic view.

De Pijp is Amsterdam's most vibrant and diverse neighborhood, packed with quirky streets, global eateries, and the famous Albert Cuyp market. This apartment sits right on the Amstel River, so you get both water views and easy access to the city center (15–20 minutes on foot). Across the river, you'll find great restaurants and walking paths. Despite being in the action, the area feels local and lived-in—perfect for travelers who want to explore like a resident.
