City Center - two rooms downtown

Actually, I wanted to spend even more on each room, the furniture, the decoration and the many details... my husband and I just didn't seem to be on the same page. But I love my little hideaway in the middle of Amsterdam. Our neighbours in this place full of history are all native ones. Lawyers, midwives, judges, journalists and creative people live here close together - right in the city centre and yet away from the noise and bustle of the unbelievably many tourists.

The space
I want to give you a sense of "home" in these rooms. Modern, high-quality furnishings, designer pieces and especially many small details selected with love. Whenever I have found great pieces at a flea market again, I hope that you as guests will enjoy them.

In addition to the large terrace for all guests on the second floor, there is also the communal kitchen on the ground floor right at the entrance (then you do not have to carry the groceries far!) There is a record player -

Living by the canal - that is a dream for many. In the past, however, this was considered frowned upon and not classical enough. Therefore the canal was filled up around 16th century. A beautiful park in the middle of the city was created - and still is today. Large trees that provide shade in summer and absorb the sounds of the city.
I love the Cafe Slijterij Oosterling (50m from us). Open since 1877, this is probably one of the most authentic places in Amsterdam. Time seems to stand still here. If you are hungry, you can get delicious sandwiches, burgers, salads or freshly caught fish in the Brasserie Nel (400m). If you prefer self-catering and our shared kitchen, the supermarket is only 70m away.
