The space
Our house is a beautiful old Amsterdam house built in the 16 hundreds. It has a traditional dutch facade and old twisting stairs. (The stairs are very steep and narrow which is one of the characteristics of this kind of Dutch architecture) It is located in the monumental historic centre of Amsterdam one street away from the red light district and at 8 minutes walking distance from the central train station with a direct train to the airport. The house is in the centre of Amsterdam one street away from the red light district. Just around the corner of the house is a castle called "de Waag" which has an interesting history to it. Around the castle are lots of nice pubs and restaurants where you can enjoy a meal and some Dutch and Belgium beer in a cosy environment.

Rumours that Amsterdam is dangerous or dodgy are not true. It is a very safe area also at night time and for women on the street by themselves.
