You’ll find a good selection of Indonesian and Surinamese restaurants, plus cozy brown cafes and craft beer bars. The nearby Dappermarkt offers a daily street market with fresh produce and affordable goods, while the Tropenmuseum provides cultural depth. This neighborhood suits travelers who want a quieter, more authentic Amsterdam experience without sacrificing convenience.
