De Pijp is the hip area of Amsterdam and super central. Within 5 minutes you are at central station. You can walk to the famous Avocado Show (it’s around the corner), relax in Vondelpark, explore the Albert Cuyp Market or go visit the museums! So much to do in this area, you won’t get bored. De Pijp is probably one of the most special neighbourhoods of Amsterdam. If you want to chill there is Sarphatipark nearby, if you feel like mingling with locals you can go to nearby bars and try out special meals at the nearby (vegan) restaurants. If you want to get to know the real Amsterdam, then this is the place to be.
