Romantic, cosy room in the back of an antique barge, perfect for couples. Private entrance, extra hangout in the steeringhut and on the sunny deck terrace outside.
Our boat is located in 'Realeneiland', a beautiful quiet part of the historic centre, just off Jordaan and Haarlemmerbuurt.
The space
Your room is nice and cosy, with private shower and petit bathroom/toilet. It is set in the back of the ship, where in the old days the captain and his family lived. (The ship is one hundred years old.) The front where we (the owners) live, is the part of the ship that was used for transporting grains, sand, or other large cargo.
Guest access
In your room you will have your privacy, and we will keep our's. The only place where we could meet is at the entrance of the ship: the steering hut and the deck. Guests can chill there and watch the canal life, and sometimes we will be there too, to have a coffee of a glass of wine.
