Canal View Amsterdam Brouwersgracht apartment

This top-floor apartment on the Brouwersgracht canal is ideal for a family of four (two adults and two children up to 16) who want a central yet quiet base in Amsterdam. The 17th-century canal house has been fully modernized while keeping its historic wooden beams, and the three-window view over the water is a highlight. You’ll have a private entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, and thoughtful extras like a high chair and children’s dinnerware, making it easy to settle in. With the Central Station and Anne Frank House just a 7-minute walk away, you can explore the Jordaan and Canal Belt on foot, then return to a peaceful waterfront retreat. The host greets you personally, and luggage drop-off is allowed, so your arrival and departure are stress-free.

Brouwersgracht sits at the northern edge of the UNESCO-listed Canal Belt, where the Jordaan district meets the city center. This quiet, picturesque street was voted Amsterdam’s most beautiful by locals, and its 17th-century warehouses now house cozy cafes, specialty shops, and houseboats. You’re steps from the Nine Streets shopping area, the Anne Frank House, and Westerpark, while tram and train connections at Central Station make day trips easy. The area feels historic and residential, yet all major sights are within a 10- to 15-minute walk.
