Canal LOFT, great LOCATION

Romantic 1 bedroom LOFT at the noblest canal in Amsterdam center: Herengracht. The loft has beautiful traditional architecture, high ceilings and windows, wooden work and many details, surrounded by a artistic decoration. First floor, 55m2, living (open kitchen) and sleeping (bedroom plus atelier). Not shared

The space
Located in the first floor it offers 55m2 separated in two areas: the living and dining, with an open kitchen/bar, the bathroom, and the bedroom - where the sleeping area is located - with an atelier for 2 extra persons in the same space. The bedroom offers a queen size double bed and the atelier a double mattress as an extra bed in case you come with children or extra friends. The access stair to the mezzanine is steep; therefore the atelier is not recommended to people with walking disabilities.

The Herengracht is considered to be the most important canal in the city. In the 17th century, the richest merchants and the most influential regents and mayors of the city lived on this canal. Even today, an adress on the Herengracht is seen as prestigeous and chique. The Herenmarkt, The three hills... At the left side of the canal on nr. 81, we see the oldest residential house in Amsterdam, built in 1590 as a traditional merchant's house with a beautiful step gable. Also Bartolotti house, or the Major Residence are located in this wonderfull canal.

Don't let your canal house carry you away for too long as you are in the heart of old Amsterdam begging you to explore it: all attractions are within walking distance, all canals are to be walked only minutes from your historic house. Dam Square, Ann Frank house are a few minutes distance, Restaurants, shops, the famous "Flower's Market", right at the archi-famous "nine little streets", Leideseplain, the infamous Red Light Dist
