Host description
Original listing copy from Airbnb — prices and availability are confirmed on Airbnb.
Welcome to our houseboat! Located just ten minutes from Amsterdam Centraal, you can feel what it is really like to live, work, or just play in Amsterdam. My husband and I fell in love with this city by renting a houseboat on AirBNB - we know you will too.
The space
Enter our house by the front deck, from which you can see a historic wooden windmill (and brewery) just down the street. On your way in, please feel free to pick rosemary and sage from our small garden. You will know our boat by the vibrant green roof - these plants keep our home cool in the summer, and help to dampen the noise of the city so you can completely relax.
The main room of the house is a bright, sunny living room with gigantic windows out to the canal. Yes, your feet ARE below the water level! There is also a small work space and a dining area for four.
The very well-appointed kitchen has a full size fridge, gas stove, dishwasher, and lots of fun vintage cookware.
