Bedroom (B&B) in the center of Amsterdam

This private bedroom in a shared condo is ideal for solo travelers or couples who want an authentic, budget-friendly base in Amsterdam’s vibrant De Pijp district. The room is compact, so it suits guests with small to medium luggage who prioritize location over space. You’ll have your own private shower and direct access to the room, while the host lives in the same apartment, offering a local connection and a quiet, respectful atmosphere. Note that cooking and smoking are not permitted, and the room is best for those who plan to explore the city rather than spend extended time indoors. Key amenities include fast WiFi, a hair dryer, and a kitchen with a gas stove and blender for simple meal prep, plus room-darkening shades for restful sleep. With a stellar 4.9 rating from 34 reviews, this is a well-loved choice for travelers seeking a clean, central stay without the hotel price tag.

De Pijp is one of Amsterdam’s most lively and authentic neighborhoods, known for its multicultural vibe, street markets, and café culture. You can walk to Museumplein (Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum) in about 15 minutes, and the Albert Cuyp Market is just a 10-minute stroll away for fresh produce and souvenirs. The area is also close to Vondelpark for relaxing walks, the Heineken Experience, and Leidseplein for nightlife. With the Amstel River nearby and Rembrandtplein a short walk east, this location puts you in the heart of the action while keeping a local, residential feel.
