The apartment is situated in the picturesque Rivierenbuurt neighbourhood of Amsterdam. The neighbourhood is situated in Amsterdam-Zuid, bordered by the river Amstel to the east, the Boerenwetering canal in the west, the Amstelkanaal in the north and the A10 motorway in the south.

The neighbourhood features many fine examples of Amsterdam School-architecture. The Dutch word Rivierenbuurt translates as 'Rivers Neighbourhood', which refers to the fact that most streets in the area are named after rivers in the Netherlands.

The apartment is literally across the street from the RAI convention center, very close to the train station and the metro 52, which takes you to the busiest centre of Amsterdam, literally in 7 minutes.
The apartment is also situated across the street from the finest restaurants and bars (best fish restaurant in town!).
