Amsterdam, Tiny House with incredibe view

Newly build (2018), wooden but luxurious tiny house. Private area. A lot of space around your tiny house and a huge field of grass (protected area for birds) in front of your glass doors.

Suitable for couples and friends. Small animals are welcome in consultation.

How does it feel?

If you need a break from your hectic life or want to enjoy the silence after a busy day in Amsterdam, this is an excellent place.
Privacy, comfort and the sound of birds, frogs and very often cows..

The space
Where is it placed?

Durgerdam is in the North of Amsterdam. It has 1 street which actually is a dyke. Dykes were build to protect Holland against high water levels. There is just one street called: Durgerdammerdijk, meaning dyke of Durgerdam. Authentic rural area (former fishermen village), but still close to Amsterdam (city). Easy to reach from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (23 km), exit S115 'Durgerdam' from A10.

The T

Most of the visitors (and I absolutely agree) love Durgerdam because you stay in a pristine authentic quiet place, where you can enjoy nature. But just a stone's throw away you will be in the city center of Amsterdam. On your bike or with 15 minutes by car, Uber or a taxi.

Durgerdam (part of Amsterdam) has 1 lovely restaurant: Zuyderziel, if you don't want to cook yourself. This is 3 minutes walking from the Tiny House. Update: this is in renovation now. Re-opening in 2022. The closest supermarket, that also provides fresh fish, meat, flowers and good vegetarian food is 7 minutes away by bike. In the tiny house there is a book with suggestion
